Kimberly F. Aven, President and Owner
Kimberly has been with the Company since its inception, in 1981. She has served in various positions during her tenure. In February 2012, she has moved to her current position of President and CEO of Aven Fire Systems, Inc. Kim oversees the daily operations of the Company ensuring that the quality, workmanship and integrity that Aven Fire Systems provided to its customers is consistent no matter how small or large the project. Kim believes that all customers are treated fairly and consistently and that the Company meets and exceeds the demands of the customers that we serve each and every time.
David M. Coss, Superintendent
Field Superintendent, has been working with Aven Fire Systems since 1985. He began as a sprinkler fitter working on the installation and service of all types of fire protection systems. He is now responsible for supervising the field employees of the Aven Fire Systems, Inc. While involved in management of all areas of Aven Fire Systems, Dave’s dedication and expertise has led the way in giving our customers the best possible service. He is a graduated teacher for the apprentice program and is NICET Level II Certified in Sprinkler Systems. He has passed the Star Master Sprinkler Fitter exam.
April L. Aven, Safety Director
April has been with Aven Fire Systems, Inc. since 2003. She received a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Slippery Rock University. She manages the safety program at Aven Fire Systems, Inc. and ensures that safety is monitored and maintained on job sites. She is also the representative for the ISO 9001Quality System at Aven Fire Systems, Inc. and is the Chairman of Aven Fire Systems, Inc. Safety Committee. Working at all levels of the company management; she has developed an understanding and commitment to life safety as she continues the legacy of her father, founder of Aven Fire Systems, Inc.
Anthony D. Aven
Former President had forty years’ experience in the estimating, purchasing, and management of all operations pertaining to the fire protection industry. Mr. Aven’s commitment to life safety continues to be the working culture at Aven Fire Systems, Inc. His generosity to the community was one of his most commendable attributes. Anthony made Aven Fire Systems, Inc. into one of the leading fire protection companies in the Northeast. He was inducted into the National Fire Sprinkler Association Hall of Fame in 2014.
In addition to the above personnel, we maintain a staff of qualified and trained individuals to install and service all types of Fire Protection Systems, including: FM-200 Systems, Wet and Dry Automatic Sprinkler Systems, Deluge Type Systems and Fire Pump Systems, CO2 Systems, Restaurant Fire Suppression Systems, Vehicle Fire Protection Systems, Chemical Fire Protection Systems, Fire Detection/Alarm Systems, and Fire Extinguishers.
